Functionality and applications of basket strainers

In a basket strainer, the medium flows through the filter insert (screen basket), while contaminants are reliably retained. For cleaning, the basket can easily be removed and cleaned. While the single filter is ideal for processes with planned downtimes, the double filter, equipped with a changeover valve, allows cleaning of the basket during ongoing operation.
